Us Tonight

Updated October 18, 2026

A little privacy, by design.

This policy covers the Us Tonight website and couples game. The project owner manages the information described below. Use the private report form for privacy requests or questions.

Your conversations

There is no answer box, audio recording, or session replay. We do not collect what you say to each other. Please keep personal answers out of problem reports.

Game history and preferences

When you open the game, an essential, random browser cookie links your browser to server-stored question IDs, favourites, played-history settings, deck rotation, and preferences. The cookie expires after one year. Language selection is also stored on your device. No player sign-in is required, and this data does not sync across devices.

Your choices

Settings lets you turn played-question memory off, reset played history, clear favourites, or delete this browser’s saved game data. Turning memory off does not erase existing history. Clearing cookies alone disconnects your browser; it does not delete the old server record. Use Delete browser data before clearing cookies if you want that record removed. We cannot identify a disconnected record from your name or email.

Problem reports

If you send a report, we store its category, message, language, time, reference, and any card ID or email you choose to provide. Only the project administrator can read these reports. They are used to fix issues, respond, and handle privacy or payment questions, not marketing. Reports over 180 days old are removed when the report service is next used; the administrator may delete them earlier. Keep your reference if you want a report deleted.

Hosting and security

Our hosting infrastructure processes technical data such as IP addresses and request information to deliver and protect the website. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics services. To limit report spam, the report service stores an hourly hash derived from the connecting IP address and a request count. Expired rate-limit records are removed when the service is next used. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the report database. Infrastructure logs and backups may have separate retention periods controlled by the host.

Payments

If you choose to support the project, you leave this website for PayPal’s hosted checkout. PayPal and any wallet or card provider process payment information under their own policies and may share transaction, payer, and contact information with the project owner. This game does not store card numbers or confirm payments from a return link. The owner may retain payment and accounting records as required by applicable law.

Access, deletion, and international processing

You can use Report a problem to request access, correction, or deletion of information the owner can identify. Include your report or transaction reference where relevant, without sensitive payment data. Service providers may process information outside your country. The game is intended for adult couples and is not directed at children.

Usage statistics and optional question analysis

We count page views, deck starts and completions, and payment-link clicks by day, page and language. A completion means reaching the end, including cards left for later; a click is not a payment. We may record broad source channels, device/browser families and hosting-provided country, never referrer names or full URLs. No analytics cookies, visitor IDs, stored IPs, fingerprinting or Google analytics are used. Counts are not unique people. Owner activity and browsers marked for testing are separate; the owner can view public, test or combined totals. Older data remains unclassified. Basic daily totals expire after 400 days, when a new event arrives. Question analysis is optional and off by default. If enabled in Settings, we aggregate question IDs, language, views, Next/Ask me later, favorites added/removed, and foreground time ranges: under 30 seconds, 30 seconds–2 minutes, 2–5, 5–10, or 10+ minutes. We save daily totals, not personal activity trails, answers, conversations or exact event times. Game-cookie IDs are not used. Question totals expire after 90 days, when a new event arrives. Public-question/pack results require 20 views; test results may show smaller samples. This threshold is not an anonymity guarantee. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control exclude analytics. Turning analysis off stops new question events; existing aggregate counts cannot be identified and deleted individually.

Changes

We will update this page and its date when this policy changes. A new domain may require a separate browser history; we will not claim that progress transfers automatically.
